In search of love

What do we call love?
How does it happen to us?
Do we all have the same experience? After all we all human
What sorter love do you wish to have?
Do you accept that you have the ability to love and love well?
Start with yourself, which is one step I know
Love yourself and you will find it in yourself to love another
Can two simple people push it off?
Can two complicated people pull it off?
Do it the way it suits you most and the way you think works for you
No people are same
Exactly why we can’t have perfect partners
Do what you what however you want to
Feel free to make your own mistakes
Learn from it and move one
Life doesn’t start with her so why must it end with him
Now a days being crazy is an attribute
Do not copy anyone; you see what you want to see in people
Or what they want you to see in them
I search for love in the weirdest of places and at the weirdest moments.
The death of a thing can also be the birth of another
Push yourself but not too hard
Never hurt yourself…. No one is worth the trouble
But remember love thy neighbor as thy self..

a meeting

It all started with a kiss… I guess
Yes it was a light one
But it was one that said the lips were willing to go further
Search deeper and do all it entails
I didn’t know your name or have your number
I wasn’t to be blamed thou it was the alcohol
Then we had this connecting dance…
Apparently before that there was this connection and attraction which made us sit next to each other
We dint still notice each other then
They were board games and competitions
Some people disappeared into thin air
Others were very much around
There was food, drinks, alcohol, snacks and others
Gaming, betting, reading, frolicking and sexing
Others just enjoyed the scenario of the beach and walked by the waterside
Alas came the dance competition, this brought every willing girl to light
Even guys were interested in the bum-shaking competition
It helped the atmosphere get lighter….
More people were willing to talk and chat up
More people were willing to ask for names and numbers
I still dint ask for yours and neither did u ask for mine
A lot more alcohol and chatting up
What happened after this?

The Way Things Change

Suddenly certainties are becoming uncertain
Friends become strangers..... Strangers become friends
We used to be tight and best but we hardly talk anymore
We used to be inseparable but we hardly see anymore
Friends always wanted to be like us but now they wonder
Yeah I know I won't be your partner so u need to find your mate
But what happened to our friendship?
We used to know every single detail
We used to know every single move
We used to know every single action and even the next
We could tell each other anything
We used to be there for each other no matter what
Even family had to accept us as we were
But suddenly where's our LOVE?
Can Friends love better than Lovers?......
